WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. Senate Commerce Committee Chairman Ted Stevens said Tuesday he would push to apply broadcast decency standards to subscription television and radio services like cable and satellite.
The new, currently in-production Showtime cable series "Weeds" with Mary-Louise Parker would surely be considered "indecent" and in need of pre-emptive censorship by Stevens and others like him.
After all, how could the self-righteous, self-appointed "protectors of American decency" allow Adult Subscribers to watch a series about a widowed, suburban, PTA member Mom who sells "Weeds" (pot) to make ends meet?

Med MJ blog by an MD; it's focused mainly on the surprising implications of what he's learned
(and the government doesn't know) about pot use.
It's based on a study of those hoping to be designated as "medical"
in accordance with California's much misunderstood law.
