Ricky The Recruiter
MOODY AIR FORCE BASE, Ga. (ACCNS) -- The newest recruiter assigned to the 336th Recruiting Squadron here is hard not to notice. Standing more than 10 feet tall, Tech. Sgt. Ricky Recruiter makes an impact on anyone who sees him.
"Ricky will be a great asset to the squadron," said Capt. Richard Taylor, 336th RCS operations officer. Ricky made his local debut at Barrett's pre-school in Valdosta, Ga. "The kids were very excited to see him," said Staff Sgt. Jerry Waller, 336th RCS operations NCO. "They were lined up at the fence when they saw him coming."
Ricky specializes in special events and Air Force awareness. "I like walking in parades and waving to the spectators," "When Ricky talks, you know it's from the heart," said Lt. Col. Glenn Pollick, 336th RCS commander. "At least that's where the sound seems to come from. I haven't seen his lips move yet." Ricky is in high demand throughout the squadron. Since his arrival, recruiters have been requesting his support for numerous events. "I just like being around people," Ricky said.
