4 arrested on drug charges

DURHAM -- Four people were arrested Friday on various drug-related charges, Durham police said.

Police said members of the Special Operations Division served a warrant at 106 E. Corporation St. and arrested Kortney Gary on charges of possession with intent to manufacture and sell marijuana, maintaining a dwelling for the purpose of drug sales and possession of drug paraphernalia

Police also said they arrested Sekou Dantzler and Michael Terrell at 6123 Farrington Road, Apt. E-2.

Dantzler was charged with possession with intent to manufacture and sell Klonopin, which is a tranquilizer; possession with intent to manufacture, sell and deliver powder cocaine; possession of marijuana; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Also on Friday, police arrested Lana Strother of 531 Carver St., Apt. 30, on seven charges of obtaining controlled substances by fraud and six charges of possessing prescription drugs with the intent to manufacture, sell and deliver them.
