Is America Becoming Fascist?

The similarities between American fascism and particularly the National Socialist precedent, both historical and theoretical, are remarkable. Fascism is home, it is here to stay, and it better be countered with all the intellectual resources at our disposal.

  • This is totally relevant here in Australia too. Our political history is dominated by the Liberal and the Labour parties. The distinctions between them are analogous to your two party system.

That is, the Labour party (Democrats) are basically Communist, and the Liberals (Republicans) are Fascists.

And currently we have Liberals in power. Like George W Bush, our Prime Minister, John Howard, is eager to wear the dictator cap.

Mussolini best summed up fascism as a "merging of the state and the corporation".

The evidence is all around us both it seems.
