Horse tranquilizer thief faces prison

BELVIDERE -- Call it a curious equine encounter of an uncanny kind.
A jury on Tuesday convicted a New York man who stole a Warren County veterinarian's horse tranquilizers, then found his escape route blocked by a herd of seven horses in neighboring Sussex County.
Jason Angell, 26, of Orange County, N.Y., now faces three to five years in state prison.
