Bail Hearing for Marc Emery and Greg Williams
Marc Emery & Greg Williams will appear at the BC Supreme Court tomorrow, August 2, 2005 at 9:30am for their Bail hearings. The BC Supreme Court is located at 800 W. Smithe Street in downtown Vancouver.
Michelle Rainey will also appear at the same courthouse at 2pm in hopes to make some important changes to her bail conditions. As a condition of her current bail she is not permitted to be anywhere near cannabis seeds. This is an outrage because Michelle Rainey's support network and family is the cannabis community and this directly cuts her off from the support of her community.
We are encouraging as many people as possible to attend their hearings in order to show that the public supports their requests.
The US Federal authorities have requested that Marc be held without bail and this is unacceptable. Please come to the courtroom to show your support and ensure that Marc and Greg are both released from custody & that Michelle Rainey's bail conditions are changed so that she is able to be in contact with the community that supports her.
