At least 22 people arrested
At least 22 people were arrested Thursday following a drug raid in the Courierarea. Several police agencies, including federal agents particiapted in the raid.
The raid began early Thursday morning when a coalition of local police and federal Drug Enforcement Agents served the search warrants. Police used the Indiana National Guard Armory in Madison as a staging ground to launch the effort.
The U.S. Department of Justice will hold a joint news conference at the Indiana State Police Post in Sellersburg, Ind. at 11 a.m.
Several of those arrested are being held in the Jefferson County Jail. They will be arraigned Friday morning. Others arrested were taken to the Marion County Jail in Indianapolis.
It is now routine for the U.S. Government to conduct military operations against Americans in their own homes. And no one seems to notice.
