PAULSBORO -- A teenager who said he was tackled and hurt by a masked man wearing an FBI raid vest Wednesday night has been reassured that the case will be investigated properly.
Ian Veney, 18, a Paulsboro High School senior and employee of the Paulsboro Boys and Girls Club, was cutting through a field when he was hit and knocked down by the man later identified by police as an undercover agent, according to the teenager.
Police Chief Kenneth Ridinger said Veney unwittingly walked into the middle of a police "sweep."
