Officers Recover After Alleged Shootout With Suspected Drug Dealers

The officers were trying to search a home in Laurens when the bullets started flying and with children in the crossfire.
FOX Carolina's Jamie Guirola reports, It's calmed down quite a bit on this street since early Friday morning. The two officers shot are doing okay now. But the men who allegedly shot them still have a long weekend ahead - facing 25 to 3o charges.
This is not what police expected to deal with just after sunrise while trying to raid a home they say was really a drug house.
If I broke down someone's door and invaded their home I would fully expect the people in that home to resist in any way possible.
