Titusville police led a law enforcement task force on a drug bust Tuesday morning that resulted in the capture of suspects police are calling dangerous, armed criminals.
SWAT teams burst into several homes, hoping to take 17 suspects by surprise, WESH 2 News reported.
Police said the suspects are members of a ring that's been distributing cocaine and Ecstasy on the streets. They've been investigating the ring for eight months.
Police used flash grenades to surprise the suspects when they went in. One of the grenades hit a man who was in one of the houses and burned his arm.
The man was not one of the suspects named in police search warrants.
Police have captured at least six of the 17 wanted suspects so far.
