A county detention officer whom authorities suspect had a sexual relationship with a female inmate was arrested early Wednesday at the Cascade County regional jail.
Anthony Spragg, 38, of Great Falls, is scheduled to appear in state court today.
Authorities arrested Spragg early Wednesday and charged him with three counts of sexual intercourse without consent, all felonies.
The arrest came after the county sheriff’s office received a tip Tuesday of criminal activities taking place at the jail.
County Attorney Brant Light said investigators believe Spragg had a relationship with a female inmate and engaged in sexual activities inside the inmate’s cell on three different occasions.
