Christmas in Space

Vital food reaches space station
An unmanned Russian spaceship carrying food has docked with the International Space Station, where supplies had been running dangerously low.

The Progress craft reached the ISS on Saturday at 2358 GMT, roughly half an hour later than predicted and more than a day after taking off from Kazakhstan.

It was carrying 2.5 tonnes of food, water, fuel and oxygen, and Christmas presents for the two crewmen.

Their mission would have been aborted had the supplies not reached them.

  • This year, my Christmas wish was for marijuana to remain illegal and for more teenagers seek treatment for their addiction.

Looks like I got what I wanted!

Also, FYI - Looks like the drug war is working. The latest U of Michigan report shows drug use among kids is declining. God bless the DEA!

"You can't buy any better heroin in the world than you can buy in New Jersey," Michael Pasterchick, special agent in charge of the Newark DEA office told the Associated Press.

  • Will you still be hoping for marijuana to be illegal when it's your friends or family in prison?

The War on Drugs was started by Nixon back in the 60's. It can't be working too well. There's still plenty of drugs on the street. The only thing the WoD has achieved is growing the prison population to an unmanageable size.

I accept that you wish for this useless and harmful war to continue. Try to accept that some of us prefer freedom and responsibility to a police state driven by misinformation and propoganda.

  • First of all to the first Comment from the person named Anonymous how do you feel that marijuana is safer than those dangerous Arthritis drugs they took off the market?
