William H. Thomas, Assistant U.S. Attorney for the North Georgia District, spoke about his role with his office’s narcotics and organized crime task force. Before a crowded City Auditorium, Thomas told the crowd he has helped send several drug traffickers to jail.
“What does this mean for our community?” Thomas asked. “I can tell you a significant amount of those drugs were destined for African-American communities.”
